Today we’d like to introduce you to Mercedes Lynn
Hi Mercedes, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It started from Maryland to Pennsylvania, then to Virginia in one summer! I was right on the beach when I was living in Virginia I started a small business selling very cheap beaded jewelry. But that didn’t last very long because I moved back to Maryland, Because I always had a passion for working from home, I entered freelance and that is the best decision I’ve ever made, I’m a social media manager and editor! I absolutely love my schedule working mornings independently, with my buildable schedule. Including having off weekends, and occasionally durning the week of needed. Paid by client, from all over. I started using high end editing platforms and it made my business jump! I do brand deals/sponsorships and lots of collabs with my favorite brands and people. My biggest supporter will always and has been since I was in high school, my best friend jack !
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy as I said before a move from 3 states in one summer I’m grateful school wasn’t in session! Some of the struggles along the way, feeling alone being alone in a different states you can’t just drive over to your moms or best friend’s house and hangout.

I am a full time social media manager and editor. I’m proud that I can work from home and build my schedule accordingly. I love that I can prioritize myself and family more that a Normal 9-5
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
It’s gets boring not socializing with your friends and family! School wasn’t in person, it was so much more stressful.
