Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberley Clemonts.
Kimberley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It is difficult to pinpoint when the exact conception of Grounded was. My business is so closely tied to me as a spiritual being that if I was my most dramatic self, I would say that Grounded began when I did. So, I guess a better question for me to answer would be when did I begin sharing what I do through Grounded with the world?
Grounded began as a natural herbal and botanical product line in 2017. This stemmed from my love of working with nature’s elements and sharing my creations with those closest to me. The intention from the beginning was always to eventually offer services centered around wellness, alignment, and practical spirituality. As integrity is crucial to the work that I do, I felt called to spend more time dedicated to personal growth and studying my craft before offering these services. After taking some time to do these things, I began offering services through Grounded in 2019. That brings us to where Grounded is now; a brand that acts as a source of ground energy to my community through grounding tools and services.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest struggles I face is maintaining my integrity as a practitioner of a spiritually-based business within a capitalistic society. On the one hand, I have the practical aspect of Grounded, which is running a business in a. sustainable and efficient way. On the other hand, I have the spiritual aspect of Grounded, which is where integrity comes into play. Being a spiritual practitioner within the belief systems that I resonate with requires holding myself accountable to being in a certain energetic alignment before I create and work with others in an authentic and ethical way. This can be a struggle at times because there are times when on the practical side, I have deadlines and obligations that, on the spiritual side, I am not always in an energetic space to meet.
I find the balance by prioritizing my spiritual integrity because that is the foundation of all that I do. I use my self-care practices to maintain my own spiritual, mental, and emotional alignment. This helps to prevent me from getting stuck in energetic spaces that stand in the way of me being able to show up and hold space for my community from a place of alignment.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Through Grounded, I offer grounding services and tools that are intended to support my community by creating and holding spaces for them to actualize their full potential. Grounded has two major umbrellas that it operates through, which are Grounded services and Grounded tools.
Grounded services are the means through which I offer emotional and energetic support for my community to be able to connect more deeply with themselves and their own internal guidance. These services appear in the form of group courses, wellness event curation, guided yoga and meditation, and one-on-one support sessions. At their roots, these services all deal with practical spirituality, connecting with nature, alignment and reaching one’s fullest potential for expression of self.
Grounding tools are all-natural botanical items that are made to transform mundane hygiene tasks into sacred acts of love and devotion to the Self. Each item is made with intention and meant to be used with intention. It is the intention that activates the magic of the ingredients and makes them truly powerful. Some of the grounding tools that are offered are CBD Infused Herbal Bath Salts, CBD Infused Shea Butter Balm, Herbal Smoke Blends, Natural Hair Growth Oil, and Natural Beard Oil.
What sets Grounded apart is that the most core intention behind everything that is offered is love. Divine/Universal love and Self-love that overflows into Love of Community. That is the energy that all of Grounded’s creations intend to evoke at the deepest level.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Another one of Grounded’s core pillars is community building. We are always open to cultivating connections with those who resonate with our message. We embrace collaboration because it is a unity that will transform both our internal and external worlds.
