Today we’d like to introduce you to Denis Carvajal.
Hi Denis, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Well, my blogging journey has been over seven years… I never really use social media at all even though I was always in the fashion industry working as a personal stylist or event coordinator with some high profile retail stores from Women’s to men’s… right around that time, I started posting women’s and men’s looks I that will style for stores as a visual coordinator & personal stylist… I got some great feedback so right after that, I decided to do more looks and photoshoots of myself just styling my everyday outfits… that immediately took off and the response was quite surprising to me, which I love… now years later, I’m working for myself as and entrepreneur and creating content for some of the best brands around the works and I couldn’t be happier… my schedule is very busy and is practically my dream job…
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Struggles was really transitioning from a stylist to a blogger & influencer… is always hard just finding time and creating content to make sure you give that brand that believes in you so much creativity., but you know what I wouldn’t trade this for anything…
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a lifestyle and fashion influencer… I work with brands from clothing, hotels, cars, lifestyle, etc. and I create content for them as part of a paid collaboration…I’m extremely proud and honored to have such prestique companies believe in my work… what sets me apart is probably my style and my love for my family which you always see them traveling with me everywhere I go.. life is great when you share special moments with the people you love the most…
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Connecting with like-minded individuals is key for success in this industry which is very crowded but very rewarding… just keep believing in your craft and be true to yourself without taking shortcuts.. is the best advice I could give…
