Check Out Dan Mansion’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Mansion.

Hi Dan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My journey in making music started in middle school once I got my first guitar for Christmas.

Once I played the first string on my electric guitar. I knew it was the instrument for me. I originally wanted to be a DJ when I first got bit by the music bug, at the tender age of 11. Once high school rolled around (after some buttering up my friends and teaching them the basics of guitar and bass) we decided to piece together a band.

Shortly thereafter our drummer went into the armed services and we left just a trio with no singer in sight; end of the story. Next, I was able to download a beautiful program named FL Studio and then started getting interested in music production. The rest is history.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This industry on any level of success is going to have a lot of roadblocks in the way of your common goals. If this is as big of an upgrade to your life as we see in the tabloids and internet daily I would not expect it to be easy to attain.

I consider myself a lucky person and charismatic to an extent but I’ve really had to push my personality and time to their limits to stay in the game. It’s all about networking and being Mr. Bigshot. It is a continuous loop of high school-like hierarchy and you must be likable to stay ahead.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a music producer/recording artist first and an audio engineer second. I would say my specialty is and always will be beat-making, it’s the most fun I have when creating a song, I love it.

The production is also something I am known for as well, my influences over the years of listening to music have broadened my scope of what you can hear in my beats. A lot of guys will just copy and paste the same loops and chords in different patterns to trick the audience. My production is all about catching your ear and driving you to listen to the whole piece of work and digest it in a new way.

I also love performing, live acts are king in this business and I plan on being an absolute monster on the stage any time the show is on.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I am always open to collaboration for songs and production. All you have to do is email me or hit me on any of my socials!
