Hi Calvin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Calvin’s Bling Bottles & Accessories was established in September 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland!! I am so grateful for all the opportunities that my small business has afforded me. From meeting new people, being a vendor at various events around town to connecting with old friends and colleagues, it all has been so exciting, and we are just getting started! What began as a hobby has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined.
Thank You to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me both personally and professionally. With each passing day, I am constantly thinking of ways to push myself creatively while continuing to produce a quality product. I hope you enjoy my new website and I look forward to creating something extra special for you! Products include: Bling Bottles, glasses, sunglasses, custom flyers and more.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
For the most part, it has been a very smooth road. I have created something very unique, and people seem to like my products. The only obstacles I have experienced is expanding my brand, obtaining the proper state government documents, and devising a solid plan for my future goals.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in creating custom bottles and accessories that many of my customers give as gifts, use as centerpieces, or for home decor. I have received so much positive feedback that I use to motivate me to continue. What I am most proud of and what sets me apart are my custom photo & NFL sports bottles. My clients love them!
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson that I have learned is to not to overthink my designs. Sometimes I worry that my customers won’t like what I’ve created, and that has never been the case. I’ve learned to believe in myself and my talents.
