Hi Juseppe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started making music back in 2016/2017. Music is a way for me to express my past & present experiences that I’ve been through. I stopped making music between 2018-2021 due to the fact of discouragement. But when I lost my closest friend Twizzy to gun violence, all of that changed. He was a producer in the music industry and would always tell me to start making music again, but I never took it seriously. Once I lost him, I dedicated myself to put my time & effort into this. I’m doing this for the both of us. There’s never a day where I don’t think about him. He gives me the push to keep recording every day and to perfect my craft. LongLiveTwizzy
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This music journey definitely has its ups and downs to it you feel me. Well, you know when you first start out, you’re going to have to create your fan base & actually believe in yourself. The people won’t believe in your music unless you do yourself. You can’t be discouraged about how many streams/ views you get. It’s all part of the game. Always keep your faith in the Most High at all times no matter what you’re going through. I’ve came across struggles that I never thought would happen, but I made it out.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a recording artist. I’m known for my lyricism, melodic tone, and certain phrases that I say. I’m most proud of myself to keep the dedication and hunger to push my music out there. Looking back from where I started, now I can say that It’s worth the time you put in if this is something you’re really passionate about. It’s not about the money; it’s about the happiness & relatability for me. I take time to hear my songs because I’m very picky when it comes to that. I record, mix, & master all of my music by myself because I want to learn everything that music has to offer. I want to become a better version of myself every day.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love my city to death & there’s nothing I would change about it. Baltimore is full of love & hate so pick & choose your battles coming here.
