Hi Kat, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! My names Kat, I sing a hardcore punk band called Jivebomb from baltimore city. Jivebomb started over the pandemic for fun because there wasn’t anything going on, especially live music. Once shows were happening again we played our first show which went surprisingly well and that was only a year ago!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been surprisingly smooth, I think people are excited to be at shows again and just let loose. We’re just riding this out and seeing what else is to come.

I sing in Jivebomb (Kat). I’m a tattooer by trade when I’m not doing band stuff, which is generally what I’m most proud of as it brings me so much joy making art. lately it has been the success of the band in such a short period of time, as none of us anticipated anything coming out of our pandemic project.
We just wrote music for the sake of occupying time and space. The 4 of us together bring a fun, chaotic energy that I’d like to think you can really feel life and tell that it’s genuine.
We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Jivebomb was a side project/afterthought! Now it’s everyone’s main project hahaha.
