Hi Ira, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi! My name is Ira and I am the founder for SSODA Skin! 🙋♀️
I am also one of the founders for RRAW Philippines, which is an all-organic skincare company that specializes in suncare, founded in 2016.
Through my years of knowledge-creating RRAW, I have always been fascinated by sheet masks! I have only ever formulated cream, liquid, scrub, etc type of skincare, but have never been able to dip my toes into the sheet mask industry! I have always been very curious about how they are able to pack so much skincare value in such a small, yet seamless and eye-catching foil packaging!
Thus, my 7 month long and challenging journey began, but with a twist. I did not want to just do a regular sheet mask for your face, but instead for our feet! Because who says feet-care isn’t also skincare?
I’ve tested sooo many different formulas that at one point my feet were so raw and soft that I almost began selling my BABY feet looking pics online – because hey – a girls gotta pay her bills! Just kidding. Instead, I sought out the help of my wonderful friends and family to help me find the right formula and TADA! Here we are today! Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s definitely been some struggles! It’s harder to get the attention of the bigger named companies like Sephora for example. That would be the ultimate goal!
As you know, we’re big fans of SSODA Shop. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
