Chef Charisma is a luxury caterer, private chef, and event curator. A native of Washington, DC, and Prince Georges County, MD. Chef Charisma specializes in infusing local culture into her luxurious dishes. Her culinary career began in 2005 at her family-owned restaurant.
Chef Charisma has held host management and front-of-house positions in an array of hotels and restaurants making her knowledge of food and beverage very extensive. Her inherited and God-given talent along with her eclectic personality has led her to many successful collaborations with other talented chefs and celebrity clients.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth, at the same time it hasn’t been that difficult. Being a luxury caterer and Private chef is about finding the perfect clientele to reflect the brand. Through networking & faith, every obstacle has worked out.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in luxury private chef services and small group catering. From corporate events to baby showers, I’ve done it all.
Curating custom event menus for my clients and their guest that will wow their eyes, palates, and social media accounts.
Sourcing the best ingredients for proper presentation is something I pride myself in. I receive the most compliments on the aesthetic and taste of the dishes that I’ve created.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Delivering a quality product to my clients is the most important to me. Watching their eyes light up from the food actually tastes as good as it looks keeps a smile on my face.
