Hi Gia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up, my family has always owned multiple businesses in the events industry. Whether it was catering halls, restaurants, bars, or lounges, I was always surrounded by the industry. Coming from that background, I knew I wanted to be a business owner and I always knew that becoming an entrepreneur was the route I was destined for. I recently became a mom to a beautiful baby boy and being able to stay home with him every day has been such a dream but I also knew I wanted to be able to build a legacy for my family and follow in the footsteps of my grandpa, who was the original entrepreneur of my family.
When I stumbled upon Alpha-Lit, I knew this was something I needed to be a part of and I knew Baltimore would fall in love with this business just like I did!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We have officially been open just a little over a month and, I must say, it has been really amazing. The Baltimore events industry is filled with incredible visionaries, artists, and professionals that I get to interact and build a relationship every day. We do our best to be flexible and accommodating for not only our clients but the entire events team we might work with on every single event. Being a team player in this industry is probably the most imperative aspect, in my opinion, because it truly takes a team to pull off an incredible event and we have been blessed to work with several wonderful vendors thus far!

Alpha-Lit Baltimore offers the highest quality marquee letters, numbers, and symbols for rent. We’re servicing Baltimore, Harford County, Howard County, and some surrounding areas! Adding our beautiful marquees to any event truly makes for that ‘wow’ factor and they make a special statement piece! Alpha-Lit is nationwide but we feel blessed that we were able to bring Alpha-Lit to Baltimore (and surrounding areas!) What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Baltimore is a truly unique city! It has one of the best events industries I’ve been a part of. As I mentioned before, it is filled with some of the absolute best visionaries I’ve been lucky enough to work with and the creativity that exudes from this industry is unmatched. I was worried that it would be extremely competitive but we have found it to be welcoming and inclusive! It’s been a blast getting to work on multiple events with a large team of planners/vendors and then getting to see the entire event come together. There is a huge sense of pride in seeing your hard work come to life.
