Today we’d like to introduce you to DeAndre Daniels.
Hi DeAndre, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
July 9, 1974 on a Tuesday night in Baltimore’s University of Maryland hospital I was born. Who knew I would be here 50 years later(God did). Especially since my first 45 day’s i was in a incubator unable to receive the effection of my Mother, because of yellow jaundice. Can you imagine that for them first precious month and a half of life no one could comfort me or hold me but God. My Grandmother was there everyday singing to me as I lay in my bubble. She said not once did I ever cry, always smiling, she guess that the Angels were playing with me. I wouldn’t see my Mother for another 45 day’s after that because I had to stay with my Grandparents on the fear I could get sick from my Parent’s. I see why I am so close to my Grandparents. My Grandmother said my Grandfather cried like a baby when I was in the hospital. She said that I meant the world to him, first grandchild and a boy he was very proud.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
DeAndre attended Baltimore City And Baltimore County schools, when in 1993 he earned his GED. De‐
Andre started to get in trouble with the law during his
high school years. It ultimately costed him almost 14 years of his life from(sentenced to 35 years) February
2000 to September 2013. After spending nearly a third
of his life in prison, the 24 year old wet behind the ears
young man who went to prison, returned as a 38 year
old full of knowledge, wisdom, and overstanding. While
incarcerated DeAndre started to search for GOD, trying
to make peace with his inner demons. ” I’ve seen a lot
and I did a lot of destruction to my community. I want
my legacy to be one of building up my community.” In
order for him to do that, he would have to change HIS
World View. So he knew he had to seek education, to
help him with the transformation. So while in prison
he enrolled in Hagerstown Community College from
2004-2007 under the ACE PROGRAM( American
Counsel on Education) earning over 30 credits in the 4
year period and a 3.7 grade average . He also started
to join self-help program such as Anger management
and Narcotics Anonymous, to help him deal with his
issues. He learned quickly and became a leader inside amongst Men.

Airmen Daniels has over 7000 hours of teaching the 6 topics of achievement for your Part 107. Airmen Daniels is also a skilled Pilot in the field working all over this great Country. He’s experienced in Wind Turbine Inspections, inspecting over 500 plus turbine logging in over 1000 plus hours traveling over 17,000 miles by land and air in 2022. Also 120 hour’s of Construction progression mapping and reporting. Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
It had none,I studied and climbed my way to the top with discipline, will, and faith in my Creator. Luck is non-existent, you have to be prepared. Does who are the most prepared creates the best chance to succeed.
