Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian (Deacon) Gamble (Storm).
Hi Brian (Deacon), thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up here in Baltimore in the Parkville area and in my 20s I joined the army. I deployed three times and after my time was up, I moved back to Baltimore from Fort Campbell, Kentucky and during that time I became a pro wrestler and once that career was over, I switched to Broadcasting with the Heritage Sports Radio Network for college sports, went to the community college of Baltimore County to refine my skills and now do sports Casting and gaming videos and streams on the side.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
the biggest reason why i left the army is because of injuries and an Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis which has made it difficult to stream and make videos as often as i would like but i definitely make due
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Video Editing, which i have made a pretty good career out of in wrestling before this, as well as the occasional wedding i would film and edit. I also had a local independent wrestling television show in West Virginia that i produced and edited (Primal Conflict Wrestling’s Unleashed”). I have used all the skills in those fields to make my videos look very different from what you would find from most streamers, bringing forward and putting energy into the presentation of my current product to draw viewers in
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Best- i like how both big and small Baltimore is and not only that but how serious we are about our sports. I’ve always found it hard to explain, but living away from here has always not felt right. This place feels like home and the people here make it so.
Worst – The Drivers…I love you guys but if it wasnt for DC, Maryland drivers would be the worst! Also, I-695.
