Hi Chrissy , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Healthcare has been a part of my life since I was 17 years old, and I’ve proudly been a registered nurse for more than 12 years. After spending many years at the bedside—including working through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic—I realized I was ready for a new chapter. Aesthetic nursing was the perfect fit because it combines my two greatest passions: medicine and beauty.
Breaking into the medical aesthetics industry isn’t easy, but I’ve never believed in letting “no” define my future. I dedicated years to advanced education, hands-on training, working alongside experienced providers, and completing an intensive aesthetic mentorship to build the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional patient care. When I knew I was ready, I took a leap of faith and founded Allure Aesthetics of Bel Air.
I opened my doors in March 2024 with a single treatment suite and a vision of creating a practice centered on safety, education, natural results, and an outstanding patient experience. Just two years later, that vision has grown into a thriving practice with a beautiful office and an incredible team that shares my commitment to excellence. I truly love what I do, and I never take for granted that I get to live my dream every day while helping others feel more confident in themselves.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning a small business is incredibly rewarding, but it is rarely a smooth road. Every stage brings new challenges, and as a business owner, you have to be adaptable, resilient, and fully invested every single day. From securing financing as a brand-new business to navigating slower seasons and making important decisions that impact both my team and my patients, each obstacle has been an opportunity to learn and grow.
Perhaps the greatest challenge has been finding balance. As both a business owner and a mother, I understand the constant pull between building a successful company and being present for my family. Achieving a true work-life balance is something I’m continually working toward, but it’s also what motivates me to make every moment count. Those challenges have shaped me into a stronger leader, and they’ve made every milestone and success even more meaningful.

We never recommend unnecessary procedures or chase trends—instead, we focus on treatments that are proven to deliver real results.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust we’ve built within our community. Many of our patients become like family, returning year after year and referring their friends and loved ones because they know they will receive honest recommendations, exceptional care, and beautiful, natural outcomes. Being recognized as **Harford’s Best MedSpa in 2024** and **Baltimore’s Best MedSpa in 2026** is an incredible honor, but what means the most is earning our patients’ confidence every single day.

To be honest, I don’t believe success is a matter of luck. I believe it’s built through hard work, determination, consistency, and a willingness to keep learning and improving. Building Allure Aesthetics has required countless hours of education, planning, sacrifice, and showing up every day with the same commitment to excellence, even when no one is watching.
Of course, there have been opportunities and wonderful people who have supported my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of them. But I believe those opportunities came because of the foundation that was built through preparation, integrity, and consistently delivering exceptional care. If there’s one thing I’d want aspiring business owners to know, it’s that success isn’t about waiting for the right break—it’s about creating it through perseverance, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to your vision.
