Check Out Brookelle Bombshelle’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brookelle Bombshelle.

Brookelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always been an artist — ever since I could hold a pencil, I was constantly drawing and creating. Art was something I naturally gravitated toward, so I pursued fine art and design throughout high school and continued studying it in college.
As much as I loved traditional art, I knew I wanted to turn creativity into a hands-on career and develop a skill that was both artistic and deeply personal. That led me to begin a tattoo apprenticeship in 2011, and from that point on, I was completely hooked.
Early on, I was heavily inspired by women like Megan Massacre. Seeing heavily tattooed women succeed in the industry made me realize there was space for artists like me to build a career while fully embracing individuality and self-expression. I remember thinking, “I want to be just like that.”
Over the years, I’ve continued to evolve not only as a tattoo artist, but as a creative overall — from tattooing and modeling to now stepping into professional wrestling. Everything I do really comes back to the same foundation: art, performance, self-expression, and creating something memorable.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Coming into the tattoo industry as a woman in the early 2010s was extremely challenging. At that time, the industry still had a very old-school mindset in a lot of places, and there was a lot of gatekeeping, manipulation, and toxic behavior behind the scenes. I experienced everything from dishonesty and people trying to take advantage of me, to drama, exposure to substance abuse issues, and environments that could be outright abusive at times.
But through all of it, I never stopped. I stayed focused on my goals, continued improving my craft, and kept pushing forward no matter what obstacles were put in front of me. Over time, that persistence led me to the right people — artists and friends who genuinely understood me, accepted me, and wanted to grow alongside me instead of compete against me.
A huge shoutout to Nicky and Jack at Spellcraft for being part of that journey. Having a supportive environment and people who believe in you makes all the difference.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I do is really a fusion of art, identity, and self-expression. I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2011, but my background started long before that through fine art, painting, and design. Over the years, I’ve built a career not just as a tattoo artist, but as a creative personality and brand — combining tattooing, modeling, and now professional wrestling into one larger vision of who I am as an artist.
Tattooing is still at the core of everything I do. I specialize primarily in black and grey work, especially realism, fine line, illustrative designs, geometry, dotwork, and heavy blackwork. My work is known for being detailed, bold, and high contrast while still maintaining flow and readability on the body. I love creating tattoos that feel powerful and timeless rather than trendy.
I think what sets me apart is that my work and my appearance are both unmistakably “me.” I’m completely covered in tattoos, have a very recognizable alternative look, and I’ve never tried to fit into a traditional mold inside or outside the industry. Everything about my career has been built authentically — from my art style to my personal brand. Clients don’t just come to me for a tattoo; they come for the experience, the energy, and the creativity behind it.
I’m also proud that I’ve been able to turn something I loved as a kid into a full creative career. My work has been featured in magazines, I’ve modeled professionally, judged tattoo competitions, been interviewed on television, and now I’m also stepping into the world of professional wrestling.
More than anything, I’m proud that I stayed true to myself the entire time. I built my career without watering down who I am, and I think people connect with that honesty.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
The simple things! Pulling a crisp line in a tattoo, lifting weights at the gym, cuddling with my cats at home, or coffee in the morning. It’s important to find joy in the small moments to feel overall grateful and fulfilled!
