Exploring Life & Business with Brandon Anson of Pasadena Premier Plumbing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Anson.

Hi Brandon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started as a Plumber right out of high school I didn’t know anything about the trade. I just got into it as an opportunity from a family member that knew the owners wife. I ended up taking the liking to it and decided that it was gonna be something that I could do for the rest of my life after two months of working and trying it out. After being with this company for 4 1/2 years, I decided to make a change and go to a big company which I stayed with that company for 3 1/2 years. I decided to leave that company due to them not treating the customers right. So I decided to go back to the small Mom and pop Plumbing company. I used to work for me and the owner didn’t see eye to eye and I always wanted to start my own plumbing company. I decided early in my career I wanted to do it in my mid 40s then I was persuaded to move it up to my mid 30s and when I was having spats with my boss at the time from the small Mom and pop shop. My family and I sat down and talked about my options and decided to open our own plumbing company. It was gonna be hard, but it made sense to perform my own brand of Plumbing and bring my unique skill set to the clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was not smooth whatsoever the road to becoming a plumbing technician is a little difficult at times. The work isn’t necessarily easy. It has a lot of high stress situations and a lot of information to take in and some technicians would not want to teach you how to perform the work because then you would potentially replace them. It’s also difficult to navigate some customers, but we always will end up getting that one person.

As you know, we’re big fans of Pasadena Premier Plumbing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
When it comes to working with us, we specialize in finding leaks that are hard to find also replacing the sewer and water service lines that go to your house to the street. And what sets us apart from all the other companies is that we won’t sell you unnecessary products. The only thing that we are gonna do is give you the best customer service that you could ever receive at another company and also giving you multiple options and being straight up and honest with our customers and telling it to them like it is that way our customers can make an informed decision on what they would like to do and not have the technicians tell them what they’re gonna do

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I enjoy being able to dictate my schedule and to be able to help the ones that I care for the most Family is the number one thing on my mind all the time
