Meet Adrian Garcia of Digital Cityscape LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Garcia.

Hi Adrian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Adrian Garcia, and I’m the founder of [Digital Cityscape LLC](https://digitalcityscapeagency.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com), a Baltimore-based digital marketing agency focused on helping local businesses grow through social media, branding, content creation, websites, and paid advertising. Ironically, my story began during one of the most uncertain times in modern history: the pandemic. While businesses were shutting down and people were filled with fear about what the future would look like, I became obsessed with the shift happening right in front of us. The world was moving online faster than ever before, and I could see that many local businesses were completely unprepared for it. I spent countless nights teaching myself digital marketing, websites, branding, and social media strategy because deep down I felt like there was something bigger waiting for me on the other side of all that uncertainty.

At first, it completely failed. I had the vision, but I didn’t have the money, the experience, or the resources to make it work. So I put the dream on pause and went into the car business, eventually working my way up at a Toyota dealership from sales to finance manager. On paper, life looked great. I was making good money, becoming one of the top finance managers in the district, and building a reputation for myself. But behind the scenes, I was mentally exhausted. The hours were brutal, the pressure was nonstop, and while I was financially growing, I felt like I was losing my freedom piece by piece. Still, those years ended up becoming the foundation for everything I am today. Every credit application, every conversation with successful business owners, every deal I structured taught me something about people, business, risk, and sacrifice.

Then one day, everything clicked. I started researching the businesses of many of the entrepreneurs I had met through Toyota, expecting to see polished brands and strong online marketing. Instead, I found the opposite. So many successful businesses barely had websites, social media pages, or any real online presence at all. That was the moment I saw what entrepreneurs call the “blue ocean.” I realized there was an entire market sitting wide open, especially for local businesses that needed help entering the digital world. I was 25 years old, sitting there thinking to myself, “If I don’t take this risk now, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.” Within a single week, I resigned from Toyota, turned in my company car, cleaned out my office, and walked away from the security everyone told me I was crazy to leave behind. Friends, coworkers, even family members questioned my decision. But for the first time in my life, fear was no longer stronger than my vision.

I started calling business owners I had built relationships with over the years, and on my very first phone call, I sold a website. The only problem was… I barely knew how to build one professionally. I remember staying awake for almost two straight days teaching myself everything I could, determined not to fail. A few days later, I delivered my first website, and shortly after that, I landed my first restaurant client for social media management. Again, I had never professionally managed a restaurant page before, but they believed in me before I fully believed in myself. That belief changed my life. I spent weeks studying graphic design, social media strategy, and content creation with almost no sleep, and slowly we started seeing results. Customers began walking into the restaurant saying they saw our posts online. Then came our first viral video: 10,000 views. Then 100,000. Then over a million. Before I knew it, we were being invited onto FOX45 News, not once but multiple times, and local businesses throughout the community started recognizing our work.

Everything began moving fast after that. I signed multiple clients almost overnight, hired my first team members less than a year into business, and continued building what would become [Digital Cityscape LLC](https://digitalcityscapeagency.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com). One of our restaurant campaigns eventually generated over 23 million views online, with lines wrapping around the building. Watching local businesses grow from something we created felt unreal. It was proof that taking the risk was worth it. Today, our agency has evolved into a full-service marketing company offering websites, branding, videography, photography, paid advertising, and social media management. But more than anything, I’m proud that we help local businesses believe in themselves the same way others once believed in me. Looking back now, I realize Toyota didn’t delay my dream, it prepared me for it. And now, as technology continues evolving with AI and automation, I’m excited all over again, because I feel like I’m standing at the edge of another blue ocean ready to be explored.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. While I was confident in my digital marketing skills, I quickly realized that building a successful business required much more than just getting clients and creating content. Overnight, I had to learn how to manage payroll, business taxes, insurance, contracts, licenses, and lead a growing team, all while adapting to the nonstop changes in social media and marketing. Honestly, my biggest challenge has never been finding business, it’s been learning how to keep up with the growth, handle the pressure, and become a better leader little by little every single day.

We’ve been impressed with Digital Cityscape LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Digital Cityscape LLC
is a Baltimore-based digital marketing agency built around one core mission: helping local businesses grow and compete in today’s digital world. We specialize in social media management, content creation, branding, websites, SEO, photography, videography, and paid advertising, with a strong focus on restaurants and home improvement companies. What truly sets us apart is that we do not believe in “cookie-cutter” marketing or generic strategies. We focus on building what I call a digital ecosystem, where every part of a business’s online presence works together, from the branding and storytelling to the website, ads, and social media content.

More than anything, I am most proud that my dream has become bringing light to small, local, family-owned businesses that truly deserve the spotlight. A lot of hardworking business owners have incredible stories, products, and services, but they simply never had the right marketing team to help showcase them to the world. Being able to help those businesses grow while also deeply connecting with my local Hispanic community has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. For me, becoming the face of a trusted brand within the community is something priceless because it represents years of consistency, relationships, and genuine care for the people we work with. At the end of the day, I want people to know that Digital Cityscape LLC
was built with passion, sacrifice, and belief in local businesses.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is not just about leveling up personally, it’s about bringing the people around me to the next level too. Of course, financial growth and business accomplishments matter, but real success is seeing my clients hit sales goals they once thought were out of reach, watching my employees grow into stronger professionals, and knowing our work is creating a positive impact within the community. Every local business we help grow, every opportunity we create for others, and every relationship we build along the way feels like a win in my book. At the end of the day, success means building something bigger than yourself and using it to help others grow with you.
