Today we’d like to introduce you to Woody Brewer.
Hi Woody, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The idea started at home. Our son had severe allergies, and we could never go out for ice cream or desserts as a family. It was this and wanting to feed our kids more nourishing treats than what’s out there, that got my wife, Jessica, making fun healthy juices and smoothies at home. Our friends wanted to purchase some and she got the idea we could really make a difference for local families by turning it into a business. It’s been a successful 6 years as we now have 2 vehicles and a packed schedule of community events. We can’t wait to go even further.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We really had to find what kind of events best aligned with what we offer. Our drinks are loved by all ages, but we had to find our groove in places like farmers markets, schools, corporate lunches, dance competitions, and sports tournaments.
As a small business relying only on Mother Nature and fresh fruits, never cutting anything with fillers or sugars, we also have to incur costs when needed to keep our commitment to freshness. Since we have opened our doors, we have never raised the menu prices.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Customer service and bringing wellness to the community.
As we started from a family operation, we believe that our customers are our extended family. Especially at our regular farmers market, we have so many regulars who have been with us throughout our journey.
