Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade McNeill.
Hi Jade, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my business in June 0f 2020 after graduating from Cosmetology school in January 2020. Covid had just started to be known of and spreading rapidly and I had just started my career at European Wax Center, so I thought. I was only working for a month before the world was shut down. In the time of waiting for it to open back up, I was thinking, planning more so. I went back to work in 2 months and when I went back I had a plan. To not be a EWC for to long. I had opened up my own suite during the time of the shut down and started building. I was there for just a year and decided it was time to take my business full time and here we are today.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. It has had alot of ups and downs. From personal to business, once you work for yourself any small thing impacts the flow and operation, because without you theres no business. There has been times ive wanted to quit or ive pushed it to the side and went to work somewhere else but I was never happy. Ive decided to keep pushing because it is my dream, this is my happiness.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist that specializes in Womb care from waxing to Vajacials to yoni steams. I also offer natural hair services to help teach women how to take care of their hair in between protective styles. Not only is my passion to make you feel beautiful but to also educate you as well.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is being successful to support my daughter. Doing something that I love and care for while also being able to provide and not worry.
