Hello, my name is Nancy Sequeiros, and I’m originally from Lima, Peru. My journey began in the food industry, where I worked as an assistant chef preparing salads. In 2006, I took a chance and started cleaning homes for my first client, visiting them every Friday after work.
Over time, through trust and hard work, I gained more clients, which eventually allowed me to leave my full time job and focus entirely on growing my cleaning business. What I love most about what I do is building lasting relationships. I’ve had the privilege of watching my clients’ children grow up and even helping care for them along the way.
For me, this work is about more than just cleaning. I take pride in making my clients lives easier by going above and beyond whether that means helping with pets, signing for deliveries, or simply being someone they can rely on. My goal has always been to provide not just a service, but peace of mind and support for the families I work with.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. In the beginning, balancing a full-time job while cleaning homes and trying to spend time with my family on the side was physically exhausting. There were also challenges in building trust with new clients and growing through word of mouth, which takes time and patience.
When starting from scratch, there were moments of uncertainty and fear, especially when deciding to leave a stable job to focus fully on my business. But through consistency, hard work, and truly caring about the people I serve, I was able to overcome those challenges.
Every obstacle taught me something and helped me grow, both personally and professionally. Looking back, those struggles were an important part of the journey and made me stronger.
