Hi Julie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started B&B Marketing back in April of 2024. I had lost my job in January of that year and was so sick and tired of competing with every other applicant trying to be a remote social media manager. I kept toying with the idea of starting my own social media marketing business and getting to do what I love every day on my own terms. With some encouragement from my husband and family, I decided to go for it! It has been such a fun journey so far getting to be my own boss and see how my work directly (and positively!) impacts local businesses.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not! Learning how to run my own business, handle onboarding clients, finances, and managing myself as the owner and sole employee have been quite the journey. I’m still figuring things out and finding out about things I should know that I didn’t know! The hardest part isn’t the day to day, because I love the work I do for clients! It’s hardest to make the time to provide my own social media accounts with the same care and effort to make them effective. I always tell people, look at my client’s accounts if you want to see what I can do, not my own!

B&B Marketing is a social media marketing/management business located in Baltimore County that works with local businesses to optimize their social media presence to help meet their needs and goals.

B&B is known for being extremely easy to work with, making sure the client feels heard and their needs prioritized, and providing peace of mind knowing the business’s social media pages are being handled without the owner needing to be involved at all times.

We offer multiple service tiers to choose from, including consultative, content creation only, and platform management with different levels of content creation. You can also create your own custom tier if the provided tiers don’t fit your business’s needs perfectly!

Leila Hormozi’s podcast, Build, is my favorite! She’s awesome!

I also love Gary Vee! I originally became interested in social media after reading his book Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook and a lot of the info in his book still rings true today!

  • Essentials Tier – $1,250 per month
  • Standard Tier – $1,750 per month
  • Premium Tier – $2,250 per month
  • Content Creation Only – $600-$1,500 depending on amount of content
