Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Oyedeji.
Hi Isaac, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Honestly, everything started from curiosity. I was that kid who always wanted to take things apart just to see how they worked. That curiosity slowly turned into a real passion for building, not just physical stuff, but ideas, designs, and systems that actually solve problems.
I started freelancing in web and graphics design, helping small businesses bring their ideas online. Over time, those small projects grew into my own brand, IsaacTheCreator, where I began working with companies, startups, and organizations to build their websites, design their branding, and help them grow.
As I kept learning and expanding, I started diving more into technology, robotics, automation, HVAC systems, and AI-driven solutions. That’s what eventually led me to start my current startup company, FieldGrid, inc. Right now, I run it with my team of eight amazing people. We’re a small but hungry team building software that helps technical professionals like HVAC and construction crews manage their field operations smarter and more efficiently with the help of AI. They would be able to manage there entire industrial operation, projects, teams, clients, reports, inventory, checklists, and documents, all in one powerful platform. It has a built in AI assistant, Alex which helps technicians and field crews with troubleshooting, P2P, documentation, and reporting — making every job faster, smarter, and more efficient.
We’re still in the early stages, but we’re growing fast and learning a lot. I’d say my journey so far has been all about learning, building, and never being afraid to start from scratch. Everything I’ve done, from design to tech, has always come from that same mindset: stay curious, stay consistent, and keep creating.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. It’s been far from smooth. There were times I felt like giving up, especially when things didn’t go as planned or when I was juggling school, work, and building my business all at once.
Starting out, I had to figure out almost everything on my own, from learning design, coding, and marketing to managing clients, handling finances, and building a team. There were moments when projects failed, clients backed out, or things just didn’t click the way I imagined.
When I started FieldGrid, it was another level of challenge, finding the right people, managing time zones, building structure, and trying to scale with limited resources. But honestly, those challenges shaped me. They forced me to grow up fast, think smarter, and learn how to keep moving even when things get messy.
I’ve learned that the road to building something real isn’t supposed to be smooth, it’s supposed to test you. Every mistake, delay, or failed idea has taught me something that made me better for the next step.
As you know, we’re big fans of IsaacTheCreator LLC and FieldGrid Inc.. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I currently run two brands, IsaacTheCreator LLC and FieldGrid Inc.
IsaacTheCreator started as a creative and digital agency focused on helping businesses build their brand and online presence. We specialize in website design, development, branding, graphics, SEO, and marketing. Over the years, we’ve worked with all kinds of clients, from small businesses and nonprofits to real estate companies, contractors, and e-commerce brands. What sets us apart is that we actually care about the result, not just the design. We make sure everything we create helps the business grow, look professional, and connect with their audience the right way.
FieldGrid Inc., on the other hand, is my current startup. I run it with my team. We are a growing tech company focused on building an AI-powered tool for Industrial Project management and Field Operations. We’re creating a platform that helps HVAC, construction, and other technical teams manage their jobs, track data, and stay organized in one place. Our team of eight is small but strong, and we’re building something we believe can change the way field professionals work.
What I’m most proud of is how both brands stand for the same thing innovation, creativity, and impact. We don’t just make things look good; we build things that work, things that help people do their jobs better.
At the end of the day, I want readers to know that both brands, IsaacTheCreator and FieldGrid, are built from the same mindset: start small, stay consistent, and make something that truly matters.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about this city is the grind and creativity. Baltimore has this raw, real energy, people here know how to hustle and make something out of nothing. There’s a lot of hidden talent, small businesses, and creators doing big things quietly, and that’s inspiring to me. It’s a place that pushes you to stay grounded but also keeps you hungry to grow.
What I like least is how underrated the city can be. There’s so much potential here in tech, design, and innovation, but it doesn’t always get the attention or resources it deserves. A lot of young creators and entrepreneurs end up leaving because they feel like they can’t grow here. I wish there were more support systems and opportunities for local founders, especially in the tech and creative space.
But that’s also part of why I build here, because I want to be part of the group that changes that narrative.
