Bryauhna & Howard, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes our pop up we just had was our fourth one of the year. It was a huge success. We also just celebrated a year in business with a great organization called Give Me My Flowers. That was our very first Pop up & we sold out our first year and this year as well.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey! Im Bryauhna Winder & My Partner In Life Is Howard Warren. We are from Baltimore Maryland & our brand is called Frolic.
Frolic means to move about the earth cheerfully, excitedly, & energetically..Our brands slogan is “Grow With Us”.
We are a cannabis lifestyle apparel brand. Right now we sell handmade crotchet hats, key chains, hat pins, frozen treats, & our latest edition is Frolic Lemonade.
We host pop ups/concerts with local vendors and artist located in Baltimore Maryland.
Frolic also has 5 cannabis dispensaries attached to our brand. Remedy (Baltimore), ReLeaf, Mana, Thrive Wellness, & our newest dispensary Storehouse. We pop up at these locations with our lemonade, merch & great vibes.
You can also find us Wednesday at the Druid Hill farmers market 3:30pm-7:30pm & Thursday at the Pratt Street Market 11am-2pm
We just had our summer pop up shop in our front yard June 22, 2025 it was a smash hit. We are working on business, community, & networking bringing them all together.
Our next front yard pop up will be in July.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
Our parents have taught us a lot about work & entrepreneurship. Always believe in yourself and have faith. All you need is a mustard seed.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Dear Younger Me,
You are the rain and the sunshine. You will have seasons of storms, but I promise, they will pass, and from them, you will bloom stronger and brighter. Never doubt the magic in your spirit. You were always meant to thrive.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
We rely on each other. Ask questions you’re afraid of. If you have a suggestion don’t hesitate to say it. Dont leave your partner out of the decision you make about your brand.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most peace when I ground and pray. I say some of the most heartfelt prayers when I connect with the earth. It’s very soothing.
