Hello, I’m Christina a native Washingtonian and your guide to navigating the DMV real estate streets.I’m a mom of two young girls & a first-generation Homeowner who understands the importance of financial literacy and building generational wealth. After over a decade in healthcare,I ventured into the Real Estate industry. I’ve always been a “go-to ” person both in my personal & professional life. I’m very resourceful and I make long term meaningful connections everywhere I go. I have always been a liaison who finds purpose in advocating for others, especially the underdogs.I was a first generation home buyer, purchasing my first home in 2020 at the height of the pandemic with a newborn preemie and a three year old .So, I tell my clients if a little girl from South East D.C. can acquire homeownership so can you !After purchasing my home I felt so accomplished and empowered and that feeling is so euphoric you just want to pass it on so that’s what I do ! It’s really a chain effect since purchasing my home I’ve had the pleasure of helping several friends and family members purchase as well. Someone just has to be brave be the example and go first. It’s an honor to be that someone to others in my community. My mom who lives in South Carolina purchased a home two years ago & I was able to assist as a referral agent. I truly love what I do because it’s so uniquely purposeful. Real Estate combines all of my favorite elements: numbers, aesthetics, family, and education.My previous career taught me the importance of top-tier communication, organization, and marketing so as a Realtor I’m more innovative and whimsical in my approach I know how to negotiate and make everyone walk away feeling like a winner, I study market trends to remain current and well-versed so I can provide the most insightful and accurate information to my clients. My commitment to my clients goals isn’t determined by their budget or sales price. I truly believe that Homeownership is a tangible and valuable goal for everyone willing to put in the work. I accept the challenge of working with first-time homebuyers, repeat buyers, sellers, and everyone in between. I am not a transactional agent. My goal is not simply to hand out keys but to truly support and navigate my clients in all their real estate endeavors. I pour my resources, professional expertise, savvy negotiating skills, and my eye for intricate details into each of my clients to ensure the road to the closing table is as seamless and rewarding as possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I often struggle with getting first time homebuyers off the fence. So many people don’t believe they can achieve homeownership. They take its farfetched, it’s complicated and they don’t have the finances. I share my story with them and I detail the homebuying process from beginning to end, I answer any questions they have and I encourage them to stay the course. I always ask buyers why they want to purchase a home. Everyone has a why and that why differs for everyone some may say they want to purchase a home because they want their children to have a yard to play in. Another couple may want a house so that they can host or entertain family on holidays. Someone else may want a house so that they can have a home with space for their elderly parents. When they begin to question themselves I remind them of their why. I have also created a guide specifically for first time homebuyers that helps to educate them and empower them through the process and after. Finally I gift my new clients a manifestation key. These are blank keys that I have on a keychain that has encouraging words like ” Newest Homeowner on The Block”. I pray over everykey that they will oneway be cut to open the doors to homeownership.

Real Estate blends all of my favorite elements people, numbers and aesthetics. I love working with homebuyers and sellers towards their goals. I was a marketing major so I enjoy finding new and creative ways to market my business. I love hosting seminars and events to engage and educate clients..creating an environment where people can let their hair down and ask as many questions as they want. Education is empowerment. I don’t take any part of my job lightly no matter the price point or transaction number I treat each and every client with respect and professionalism. I have a keen eye for interior design and I am able to think outside of traditional layouts and uses. A formal dining room may be ideal for some for others that space may be better suited with custom wine cabinets and a cozy sitting area. I listen to my clients I understand what is important to them and what they value. I’m not a transactional agent, I stay connected with my clients beyond the closing table I want to know if you redid the kitchen, how your gardening is going, Im happy to get invites to cookouts , graduations, birthday parties I’m there !
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
If you’re not taking risks in life you’re doing it wrong ! I read a quote years ago that said if your goals don’t scare you ,you need bigger ones and I 100% agree ! Everything is a risk from the moment you take your first steps .. you could fall but what if you run, dance, twirl ! I believe we have more to gain than lose from taking risks even if it’s knowledge, experience and strategies to do it all again but differently !
