Hi Natalie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m someone who’s inspired by beauty in ritualistic healing, intentional design, movement and human connection. That’s what first drew me to the Aesthetic industry as a practitioner over 20 years ago.
Over time, my interest evolved and I started to feel drawn to the business side and wanted to be challenged professionally which led me into leadership where I learned how to build teams, develop systems, and approach things strategically. I’ve grown to love the artistry in growing a business and knowing when to follow structure, and when to lead from intuition.
For me, I’m motivated by vision and bringing it to life. When I started my company, the loft in 2015 the vision was to bring a loft inspired open-concept treatment space specialized in skincare treatments and self-care practices. Over the years we’ve grown to be recognized as a destination location to receive aesthetic and self-care services from a team of skilled and talented practitioners who are soulfully connected to their work.
What’s most valuable for me is to create opportunities, a space for clients to care for themselves, for employees to grow professionally, and for a brand to evolve in a meaningful way. It’s been an honor to be able to serve the community in this way over the years.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning, I took everything personally. A client’s projection, a team misalignment, it would reck me. Reading The Four Agreements changed that. One principle, “Don’t take anything personally,” helped me shift my mindset and approach situations with empathy for others and for myself.
Another big lesson was learning to step away from a full time client schedule so I could build structure within the business. That meant creating systems, policies, and a strong foundation for growth. I had to trust others, define my strengths, and let go of the need to do it all.
We’ve been impressed with THE LOFTMD, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’ve created a treatment space and sanctuary for transformation. We truly specialize in advanced skin treatments and self-care practices with a recently integrated medical wellness program featuring laser, microneedling and corrective treatments that meet our clients at every stage of their self-care journey.
What sets us apart is the intention behind the experience. We don’t follow trends. We listen. We connect and create rituals rooted in expertise.
Over the past decade, we’ve grown a brand that reflects the beauty and strength of the clients we serve and the practitioners who work within our space.
We’re proud to be known for our collaborative energy and the trust we’ve built through education, empathy, and results-driven care.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality that’s been most important to my success is resilience rooted in self-awareness. I’ve learned to keep showing up, even when the path isn’t clear, and when things feel heavy. I’ve learned to stay grounded in my values, trust my intuition and lead with empathy. Grit and grace is what has allowed me to grow, evolve and keep building something special.
