Life & Work with Erika Howell of Baltimore & DC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erika Howell

Hi Erika, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In regards to becoming an entrepreneur I’ve been working for myself since the age of 15 years old, 10 years to be exact. I found myself tapping into the fashion industry and once I became 19, I decided to take care of pets. Once I tapped into this market my life drastically changed and I became a true entrepreneur.

Thanks to the help of my support system for keeping me afloat when times became tough. This helped me gain the courage to keep going.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth ride, but I wouldn’t change it. I’ve experienced a fluctuation of income, displacement, friendships shattered, tensions with my family, lack of self control, lack of selflessness.

You name it!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am in the Per Care field. I’m also studying to be an end of life doula for pets.

I care for dogs and cats specifically. I’m known for doing live in care services for my clients.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Ask & it is given is my favorite book.
