My journey into photography began early, driven by my love for capturing memories and preserving moments. Even as a child, I cherished the ability to document life, giving others the gift of remembrance. This passion only grew when I got my first camera in middle school, sparking a deeper love for the craft. As I matured, my natural eye for candid, meaningful moments became the foundation of my photography style.
Balancing my career as an accountant, I always find time for photography, honing my skills and sharing my work on social media through @snohspace. Each photo I take isn’t just an image, but a way to make others feel seen and celebrated. With time, my talent blossomed into a true calling, and I turned that early passion into a growing business, driven by a genuine desire to help people cherish their most important memories.
Now, I am expanding further by engaging with my audience, building a community, and even planning giveaways to reach more clients. My dedication to both creativity and connection has brought me to a place where my love for photography is no longer just a passion, but a professional pursuit.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing a full-time career as an accountant, which takes up the majority of my time during the week, has been one of the biggest challenges. Finding the energy and time to devote to photography after long work hours has required a lot of discipline and dedication. There have been moments when it felt overwhelming, especially trying to juggle both passions and give them the attention they deserve. However, my love for creating and capturing memories kept me going, even when the road got tough. It’s been a journey of learning to manage my time effectively and staying motivated despite the challenges.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in capturing candid moments that feel authentic and timeless. My photography focuses on giving people the gift of cherishing memories—whether it’s a special event, a quiet moment, or an adventure. I’m most proud of the connections I’ve built with my clients and how I’m able to make them feel seen and celebrated through my lens.
What sets me apart is my ability to find beauty in the little, unposed moments, which often feel the most genuine. I approach every session with the goal of making people feel comfortable and confident, allowing their true selves to shine through in each photograph. Ultimately, it’s about creating something that people will look back on years from now and still feel those same emotions.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is when I got my first camera in middle school. I remember feeling so excited and curious about all the possibilities it held. I would take it everywhere, snapping photos of friends, family, and even random moments that felt special to me. It was the first time I realized how much I loved documenting life and capturing memories. That camera sparked my passion for photography, and looking back, it was a turning point that shaped the creative path I’m on today.
