Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Robey.
Jessica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was a sales rep selling liquor and wine for 7 1/2 years. During the pandemic I was furloughed for months. Upon returning back to work once the restaurants were able to open I was back to selling.
I pursued my goal of getting my real estate license, I ultimately decided to quit my career to pursue a new. It was a journey for me to get licensed. I wasn’t prepared for. Determination, willpower!
However, since November I have sold 10homes. I joined a new brokerage, Next Step Realty. I have two listings coming to market.
I am in a place where I am working on me. Rebuilding who I am.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It took me 5 months to get licensed. I had no idea the studying and the mental work I needed to do on my self having quit an intense career. A career that was all I knew for so many years and through a pandemic.
I actually failed class by 2 points. I ultimately went back to the CE Shop where I only had the test left and passed. I was saving the test as a back up and took the in person class to learn as much as possible.
Starting a new career is not easy. I am working on building me! Befriending others in the real estate industry. Attending as many events as I can.

My nickname is Juice
I am most proud of setting a goal of getting licensed, selling 10 homes since November 2023 in a short time.
I am a creative, visual soul. A personable people person. A wife and dog mom. Love a good time. A former athlete who played field hockey and lacrosse, I think that’s where my will to not quit comes from when I really want something.
I’ve been working on getting out more in my neighborhood. I live in North East Baltimore. I have been setting up at our local markets.
