WhollyGloss emerged from my battle with Hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy, a relentless struggle marked by severe vomiting, nausea, and dehydration. Crafting it transcended mere commerce; it became my refuge and source of empowerment. Through WhollyGloss, I found solace, reclaiming control and confidence amidst adversity. This journey not only healed me but also ignited a passion for guiding others to prioritize self-care and embrace their beauty. Beyond its business role, applying lip gloss became a personal ritual, a moment of self-love amid life’s chaos—a reminder to pause, breathe, and cherish my well-being and innate beauty.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey of creating WhollyGloss hasn’t been entirely smooth. Like any venture, it encountered its share of challenges. From sourcing quality ingredients to establishing a brand identity, there were hurdles to overcome. Additionally, balancing business responsibilities with personal well-being posed its own set of obstacles. However, each challenge served as an opportunity for growth and learning, ultimately shaping WhollyGloss into what it is today—a testament to resilience and dedication.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was a blend of outgoing yet reserved, with a curiosity that led me to constantly seek out new experiences and adventures. From a young age, I had a passion for creativity, whether it was through modeling, dancing, or spending hours at home experimenting with different dance techniques and fashion styles.
While I enjoyed entertaining others and being the life of the party, I also cherished moments of solitude, often immersing myself in creative pursuits. My interests spanned across various fields, including fashion, beauty, and different cultures. I was drawn to the diversity of the world, eagerly soaking up knowledge about different traditions and ways of life.
Traveling became a significant part of my upbringing, fueling my love for exploration and broadening my perspective on the world. Each journey was an opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures, languages, and experiences, shaping me into the open-minded individual I am today.
Throughout it all, my love for self-expression remained constant. Whether through fashion, dance, or simply embracing new experiences, I found joy in expressing myself authentically and embracing the beauty of diversity in all its forms.
