Inspiring Conversations with Eric Dorsey of Third Win Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Dorsey.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Grew up living in and around Baltimore. I moved a lot, went to 4 different elementary schools, played a bunch of sports but loved soccer.

I played at and graduated from Stevenson with an accounting degree. I was captain of the team and am in the top ten for minutes played in school history. I started working in a CPA firm during and after my time at Stevenson. The semester after I graduated, I started Masters classes at Georgetown University for my degree in sports industry management.

I experimented with jobs across various industries. Including event management and partnership activation with the MLS, NBA, NFL, F1, and MLB.

I also joined fellowships in Baltimore with the Mayor’s Office to learn more about how to try to get things done on the government side of things in Baltimore. In 2019, I joined the Baltimore Host Bid for the FIFA World Cup on the Legacy and Impact committee.

In early 2020, I decided to join Third Win Group as an associate. In October 2021, I signed on to become a partner at TWG. Today, I run TWG partnerships where I support our clients to partner with brands they love and support their communities.

In addition to TWG partnerships, I am a soccer coach for u11 boys with Baltimore Union and the Towson High School Boys Varsity team. Throughout it all, I have had my high school sweetheart, and now wife, alongside me. And last Halloween, we welcomed our daughter to the world!
