Today we’d like to introduce you to Corey “P-Shellz” Paschall. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Who is P-Shellz AKA Lenz Paschall? Is he a rapper? Is he a producer?
Well, he’s both; and equally proficient respectively.
Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, often referred to as Bodymore, MurdaLand for reasons we can all conclude; Lenz takes decades of life experience as an artist, producer, father, husband, and businessman and weaves them into sonically pleasing soundscapes the masses from all walks can relate to.
One enthusiastic fan described his style as “…what you’d get if you dropped J. Cole and Freddie Gibbs into a blender and added Sean Price for extra flavoring.”With Shellz’ feet planted in both the hood as well as the corporate sector, it’s fairly easy to visualize the mash-up.
When the artist was asked what he thought his music sounded like, he confidently stated “I sound like the cool uncle that taught Drizzy everything he knows.”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Raising 4 children, holding down a full-time job, & aging have been the biggest obstacles.

1. I am a rapper, producer, songwriter, & author.
2. I won Song of the Year 2009, Baltimore City Paper – Best of Baltimore annual series (all genres) – SONG: Fingaz Down – The Hack Anthem (Hack = illegal taxi).
3. All albums are written & produced by me.
4. I’ve won numerous jingle contests & creative writing competitions.
I am most proud of my Best of Baltimore award. What sets me apart from other rappers is my courage for showing vulnerability. Many of my life’s triumphs & pitfalls can be found woven into the lyrics.
